- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 (21 oz.) can Wilderness cherry fruit filling
- Frosting:
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 tbsp. butter
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry filling. Mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Frost when cool.
- Frosting:
- In a small saucepan combine sugar, butter and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate pieces, until melted and smooth. Spread over cake.
