- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 T honey
- 1 (1 inch) piece of minced ginger
- 2 t orange zest
- 2 t chilli sauce
- white sesame seeds
- black sesame seeds
- 4 skin on atlantic salmon fillets
- 1 egg white
- 3 T sesame oil
- 1. in a small bowl whisk soy sauce, 2 T of honey, ginger, orange zest and chilli sauce
- 2. combine the white and black sesame seeds in a seperate bowl
- 3. heat skillet to medium with sesame oil
- 4. brush egg white on salmon tops and coat in sesame seeds
- 5. once the skillet is hot add the salmon, sesame seed side down and skin side up
- 6. cook for 2-3 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 2-3 minutes
- 7. once flipped add remaining 2 T of honey, drizzled over salmon and
- 8. once down move to plate and pour sauce, let sit for a minute before serving
