Recipe Box 6.5 will run on Microsoft Vista

Recipe Box must be run in administrative mode. Several version of Vista vary on how they run a program in Administrator mode.

The new versions of Vista appear to allow the user to right mouse click on the icon and simple select "run as administrator"

Early versions of Recipe Box required changes to be made during installation.  It will run correctly if during installation if the "run this program in compatibility mode for" windows XP service pack 2 - box is checked.

If you have already installed Recipe Box, you may get the following error when launching the program:

 Network Initialization Failed
File or Directory Does Not Exist
 File: C:\PDOCUSRS.NET
 Permission Denied
 Directory: C: \

Follow these instruction to correct this problem:

1. Locate the Recipe Box directory which lists all the files for Recipe Box. It's under Program Files (use the Explorer to locate the directory)
2. Locate rcpe_box Application
3. Right click the application file and click properties on the Compatibility tab, at the bottom check 'Run this as an administrator'
4. Click Apply and OK
