Search for Desired Phrases

One day your doctor tells you it is time for a diet, no more fried food, eat fish or boiled meat for the next 6 weeks. Unfortunately, you didn't categorize your recipes for such a diet.

Select the Search for Ingredient or Preparation to help solve this problem. This search choice will look through the entire text looking for a match of the requested phrase.

The Ingredient search will look through the Ingredient text while Preparation search will look through the Preparation text. The search is not case sensitive, the phrase "boil" and "BoiL" are the same.

Let's use the following paragraph as an example :

Into a large pot put beef, large onion, bay leaf, and enough water to cover the meat. Slowly bring to a boil and remove any scum that rises to the surface. Put on lid and simmer for one hour.

Searching for the following phrases :

               bo                          Found

               boil                        Found

               BOIL                      Found

               boiled                    Not Found

               Boiling                   Not Found

If the requested phrase is found in any recipe, the recipe is added to the Search List.

An Ingredient search for "fish" will generate a Search List of recipes that have the phrase "fish" appearing within the Ingredient's text.

Be careful what you search for. An Ingredient Search for "cup" could select every recipe. This would not be of any benefit.
