Search List

As the number of recipes in your cookbook increases, locating a particular recipe may take longer. Search time can be reduced by creating a Search List.

There are several ways to select recipes for the Search List:

·                Recipe Name

·                Description

·                Preparation

·                Ingredient

·                Category

·                Both Categories

·                Either Category

Once the Search has started, each and every recipe in the cookbook will be examined to see if it meets the chosen selection criteria. If it does, the recipe will be added to the Search List.

A new list is started each time a Search is requested. The number of recipes searched and the number selected are displayed at the bottom of the window.

Once all the recipes have been searched, 1 of 2 conditions exists:

        1.  No Recipes were found matching your request.

        2.  Recipes were found matching your request.

The search time required to look through all the recipes is dependent upon the search chosen. The following is a simple guideline :

      Fast   ===>  Ingredient - Preparation Search

      Faster  ==>  Descriptions Search - Category Search

      Fastest  =>  Name Search
